With more offices heading in the no-cubicle zone, acoustics have become a real issue. The Sabine office furniture line is designed to reduce sound in open floor plans. With integrated acoustic panels, the storage pieces offer an effective means of absorbing and reducing sound. They can even be situated to provide a bit of division in an open office.
The pressed felt shells, with sound absorbing foam, are on the outside of the furniture giving each piece a minimal gridded appearance. The slotted design allows for good sound absorption in frequencies that range from 125 Hz to 4000 Hz, while even helping in frequencies lower than that.
