The DeskBox is a product that truly grabs our fascination. Modeled on the traditional wooden sewing boxes produced by Arco more than 100 years ago, Raw Edges has almost reapplied a similar mechanism but bringing it into the future with more of a modern use. The desk is made from a combination of 2 materials, wood for the surface providing a warm and workable area, and then metal for the base against the wall providing the strength required to support the daily use.
We wanted to make it as light-looking as possible and also to have the cost as low as possible, so the DeskBox will not only end up on magazine pages but at people’s homes
