Feather Clock

Marie-Aurore Stiker-Metral’s wonderful oddity, the Feather Clock, took inspiration from the glass cover of a curiosity cabinet.

The clock‘s main feature is the soft pheasant feathers that move fluidly over the painted wood and softly from behind the convex glass cover. The feathers were plucked – with respect – from farm raised birds and then disinfected after the fact.
