Silhouette Lamp

mmminimal reader M Parsons from Canada submitted this awesome conceptual design called the Silhouette Lamp. The name takes its cue from the form of a traditional light bulb, but that’s where all comparisons should end – its unique simplicity is anything but traditional.

The light fixture is inexpensive and extremely adaptable: it can be placed on the floor, hung from the ceiling, or fitted to the wall and rotated thanks to the pendant adaptor that accompanies it. In an effort to make his idea as eco-friendly as possible, Parson’s decided on lithium ion phosphate batteries as well as the use of LED tech. The smooth contours and white colour scheme give it an understated elegance, the kind of minimalist flavour we love here at mmminimal. Great concept!
