Exceptional designers Masamichi Udagawa and Sigi Moeslinger of Antenna created the Toboggan chair to cater to the flexible needs of a person using mobile technology. It’s clever design easily adapts to the active nature of the modern office.
Toboggan is a hybrid object combining a stool and a side table. It doesn’t fit into any existing typology as it responds to emerging needs brought about by mobile technology, most notably tablets like the iPad – yet it looks strangely familiar.
The shape and scale allows people to shift 360 degrees in the seat, with the curved back serving as backrest, armrest or impromptu tablet work surface. It is light-weight and easy to move around the office for casual get-together.
Toboggan is a versatile chair that supports today’s multiple modes of working.
