The Dune House is a labour of love for architectural couple Jetty and Maarten Min of the Min2 Architecture Office. The home and studio is a personally designed three-story structure that sits between the sea dunes of Bergen, North Holland.
The arch of the home’s roof is designed to mimic the dunes around it, while the specifically created clay roofing exudes the atmosphere of the coastline dune forests. The interior incorporates timber to contrast the texture of glass and metal surfaces used elsewhere in the house. An open-plan loft affords the couple a stunning view of the ocean and the rise and fall of the tides
