Interactive designer Alice Robbiani created a beautiful sculptural charger that turns an iPhone into a magnetic objet d’art. Spira uses inductive charging, which works a little your Oral-B toothbrush. There a reason though why we still charge most gadgets by cable – inductive charging is much, much slower. The Spira doesn’t change this but it was designed around this problem, by creating an inductive charger you won’t mind your iPhone spending a lot of time resting on.
