Feedly

So the Big G announced the much loved Google Reader dies on July 1st. The two reasons are “Stats are declining and we want to focus on fewer products”. I honestly just can’t imagine Google Reader is much maintenance but we’ll quit whining and find a solution. Luckily for you, we are big Google Reader users, needed a solution and discovered Feedly.

Feedly is a better way to organize, read and share the content of your favorite sites.

Feedly previously just filtered your content via Google Reader, but they anticipated it’s death and build an app called Normandy running on Google App Engine. So when Google Reader shuts down, Feedly will seamlessly transition to the Normandy back end. Tidy.

So why are we featuring this on mmminimal you ask? Well we’ve tested a bunch off RSS solutions and Feedly comes out way in front, especially with it’s clean minimalistic UI.
