Jex Chau’s sports car, the Honda electric vehicle or R-EV, is a conceptual study that aims to provide Asian teens with excitement, independence, and self-expression in densely populated urban areas.

The R-EV blends the virtual world with reality by combining the social media aspects of the Playstation brand with the technical prowess of the Honda brand. In doing so, young drivers are able to gradually build their driving skills in a virtual arena, receiving points and fame as they get better at it. They can also organise events such races or gatherings by interacting with the HOME features the R-EV utilises.
