Chick Lamp by Luca Vagnini
Italian graphic designer, Luca Vagnini, sent us this submission for a unique looking (fairly minimal) lamp. He is currently looking for a producer, so drop him a line if you like his work. Included below are some photos of the production process… lots of love going into these, dig it!
Is a minimal, portable, rectangular light on legs. Its simple and modest form allows it to be used as a table lamp, due to its size, or as a portable floor lamp, creating a lantern like effect. It is made of oak wood with comb joints, white or black lacquered iron rod and sandblasted glasses on both sides. Chrome toggle switch. Its body, which was created in accord with the golden section, is enclosed in an iron frame lodged in a groove running on its external surface. The whole structure is kept together only by two small screws located under the wooden box. Best used with low energy bulbs.
